gamemastersrealm.com. Its one of the few good bbs's that's still around.

True, its not really necessary to advance in the guild, but it's the only
way to train your skills past adept and get into the more powerful stuff
from what I understand. Perhaps I'll give it another go at some point, the
martial arts classes were entertaining with their combos and the like. But

including an interview at the end. Also, in-character when I want

From what I heard, Earth Eternal is currently the only game they're
working on that isn't geared tward roleplay. Unfortunately for us I
think this game will be inaccessible. As soon as they say Graphical,
3D, and for the PC, I get worried. That is, unless, they're taking the
suggestion you suggested about making their other games without the
roleplay aspect.

Yeah, me too. Iron Rrealms games would be awesome without the
roleplay and guild requirements that have at least 21 steps,
including an interview at the end. Also, in-character when I want
to know, for example, a command, I have trouble asking about it IC.

Looks promising, in my opinion at least. I've always wanted to get
deeper into the iron realms stuff without having to worry about
the roleplay side of things.

2009-01-16 Thread Dakotah Rickard
There's an old, old game for grinding that I thought was pretty good.
Usurper. I have a copy of it, but I don't know how to host it.

As for Iron Realms, if you have an out of character question, TELL one
of the fate guides. That word, TELL, is in all caps, by the way, to
denote a command. Tell Fate-Guide message. Remove fate-guide and
insert name. Correct spelling is a must, however. This also works with
other people. It's private communication, and fate guides are used to
that sort of question. There are a lot of commands, and I'm not
surprised that they're eluding you. THey're eluding me, and I feel
pretty devoted.

2009-01-13 Thread Shadow Dragon
They wouldn't be converted. I made sure in my email to mension alternate
versions of the games. So if they did put up non-roleplay versions of the
current games, they'd simply put another version of the game up on another
port. This is what I'm hoping for, though it might not be too bad if they
made a new game strictly for hack and slash purposes as long as it was good.
