Hello Devin,
LOL, please, don't get me started. I do keychat, everything.. But LOL, I've 
been playing text adventures on the braillenote in class before. Some curses, 
some anchorhead, some... Well, whatever, really. Rate 16 speech rate, no visual 
display. Noone can prove I've done it. I think they do know I use chat and 
email, but they can't prove it. The work is done,  so they have no rights to 
yell. Wow! See? I never was, I'm using my own gmail, for which noone knows the 
password but I do. And the BN is not restricted, and they can't even use it, 
so, again, I was perfectly fine. Oh, people watch football in class here, or 
youtube, or FB, for that matter. I have a class like this, 4 times a week. So 
that's the emailing time right now. I'm not regretting it, either. Why should I 
be all stressed about the work? We're kids, after all, we need fun. I actually 
find chatting on English the best, they think you're writing, when you're 
actually responding to the friend. 
Oh, I already have an own Apple ID, I didn't log them out, though, and have 
IMessage. In terms of games, does that change anything? Or would I still need 
to go to the app store? I can't change the apple ID, but I have made one. LOL, 
they'll never know. I was never caught, and I never involve anyone but myself, 
and possibly the friend, that I'll chat with. I'm doing since for at least 2 
school years, I'm still kicking.

Also, Choice of Games has a lot of there games as iOS apps as well as versions 
made to be able to play in a web browser. Wow, I hope that made some sense.

Hmmm I wouldn't think so, yes you could make an new apple id.
Yes you could install it to your phone.
Yes you may get the app store back, but if its monitered well I don't know.
Yes you could kill that app but there is probably a chance if its 
tracked the app will reformat your phone, computer and all your hard 
drives and report the issue and you may get your device revoked.

My point is if its restricted its probably meant for this scenario.

of making an ID, for things like IMessage and that, but not sure whether a
note taker could do it.  But back to the topic, I can't reformat it, it
wants a password.  Although, I'm not completely restricted, things could
be put onto it.  And I wouldn't lose anything, since I'm not putting
anything personal on it, because they can see it.  So I guess the question
here is, is there a way of getting games, without an ID?

To be honest unless they have locked you out totally you could probably
restore the thing from itunes even reformat the unit but I don't know if
you will loose things.
On some routers I got I got them from isps set up only for these isps.
I was able to download the legal unlocked firmware and then was able to
just install that and it was fully unlocked.
I have had a situation where while a router was locked, that someone was
able to hack into the system via telnet and make it do whatever but the
unit was locked to web configuration.

Well if your school is treated like a work network you may not be able 
to do this.
Now you may try to jailbreak your device and do it that way but if they 
are monitering that you may be revoked and loose that device.
I once did some schoolwork in a school teaching computers on a old style 
nt network with a strange configuration.

Due to restrictions half the sites were blocked for safety.
At the same time half the app portals were inaccessable.
This would be fine except that when I hit the report button the staff 
email profiles were left open and a few other things.

So ofcause they all opened.
Um, why the configuration was like that I will never know.
They then accused me of hacking their network and then fired me.
I told them about the issue but they said I hacked their network.
So even if I got back in they didn't want to address the issues stated 
and thus working there was another problem.

Another ting happened in university.
I could use one of their devices to load my screenreader of choice, 
sadly they only allowed jaws not anything else.

Anyway attempting to get my personal laptop got an interesting responce.
ALl software that came with the network was licenced for that exact 
number of machines.
To get my laptop to work, it would have to be reformatted and imaged as 
one of their units.

So what I am saying is this.
You may be at a brick wall buddy.
Treat your school as your office.
Would a business want you to play games and do what you wanted all day 
long with potential to slack off in work time and disrupt others, slow 
down the net taking bandwidth and not doing your job?

This is the way they will think.
And its not just people being assholes I have had instances in several 
work places where people spend the day on twitter, buying stuff, and 
looking at porn, cracks and other things not work.
In the worst case, a cleaner at my mum's work came to clean, her real 
wish was to use the net.
Her daughter was allowed access to quite a secure system to install her 
games, software and other junk.
I won't say what this was, but it was a medical type of business, and 
fully secured well should have been but thats not my business.

I don't know much over that but there was a problem.
I can imagine the potential for viruses, dammage reading/ deleting of 
personal info etc.
Not to mention that all those systems hooked up to the server which had 
access to everyone's home and other computer for work purposes.

It is unlikely you will be allowed that to go on.
if you can afford it you can buy your own device and then that will have 
app store on it.
If not, I guess if the game is of value to your job or for stress 
relieef etc maybe they will let you do that.
However don't expect them to allow you to install zombie's run, blind 
zombie, or any random game like that.

Maybe blind legond, maybe a sports game, not car racing.
Maybe puzzles, bopit, math and other games.
Your first port of call is to ask your administrators and tell them what 
you want and what you want to use etc.
No you won't get the app store and no you won't get everything you want 
but you won't know unless you try.
You probably keep your work and home devices seperate anyway even 
personal email can have a risk.

Also I know from things I have read and others telling me that on 
computers at work keyloggers, and other spyware is loaded on your system.
all your files, emails, passwords and all your personal info is logged 
and read.

So even the most experienced need to be carefull.
Companies do this to insure productivity  and to cover themselves incase 
something happens.

Now your apple game doesn't mean anything by itself.
But what happens if a virus manages to get in to a system somehow, or 
the system crashes or anything goes wrong, look at previous messages.

Questions will be asked how did that get started.
The first person for the chopper will be the person that isn't working, 
ie gaming, listening to youtube or viewing their twitter when they 
shouldn't be.

They will get it in the head and die! not good.
So in short you may not be able to play games on your work device.
And its unwize to do that anyway.
I have people that have 2 pyhones one for work which is loaded with 
trogens, viruses, spyware and other such things monitered and such.
And a home device which is for home and not to be used during work time 
really.

Its a pain but thats the way it is.
If you can afford it or get funding for your own device then thats fine 
they may or may not accept it.
However you most sertainly can not play your games during class and may 
only at breaks.
Then again there have been debaits over on news of making people 
socialise without devices and that means no devices at all in any school 
period.

You can ask, but you will need to approve everything before you do it.
Why is this needed is one of the questions you may get asked.

Look up iOSEmus. You'll find things there that don't require the app store. 
They're not audio games, but that's just about all you can do.

Ah, I see what they did! Profiles! Yes, must be. o to settings, then general. 
Look there, and delete any profile that allows the deletion, then you can 
delete any others that don't let you delete them at first.

Thanks!! This is what I needed! Just one thing, I got the email to work. And I 
do intend on speaking with them, but I like  trying work arounds at first, so 
that it would be good for everyone, but unfortunately, I don't think that can

Hi Rajmund.

What Charlese means is that basically when you use an Ios device everything! 
has to go through apple ad through your id. Any ap you want to use uses it, 
if you use the phone that uses it, I don't even believe you can use the mail 
service on an Ios device without first having an apple id, it's a basic part 
of the setup.
This is just how Apple works. The bennifit is that as charlse says it avoids 
piracy and makes it relatively easy once you have an Id to quickly find, 
download and access games etc, (plus it makes lots of money for apple in the 
process as main distributer).
The problem is, as you see it's not particularly free to let you have the 
complete choice as you do on Windows, indeed one reason why I do not use 
Itunes sinse I hate the organization restrictions and lack of compatibility 
with standard files and folders.


However to get any good out of the machine at all you really need an apple 
id, even if you have no credit card or other payment information attached to 
it and just access free content.


I'd suggest your best bet is to simply discuss this with your school or 
whoever has given you the device, sinse without an id there really isn't 
much good it can do you, even in terms of basically practical stuff.

password, and you do, as far as I know, need to enter credit card info. 
Even if you buy nothing, this is a way of making sure that you do pay for

I'm a little confused as to why you'd have an Ipad for education as you 
said, sinse it's not really a writing device like a laptop.


if the id however is "locked in" as you put it" you might be able to log out 
from that id and create a new one on the device, go to settings, and you 
should find the option for apple id, see if you can log out from that id 
then try to create a new one tied to your e-mail address.
It shouldn't cause an issue so long as you don't actually pay any money and 
there are several free games you could try,  actually also aps such as 
blind square the satnav system and several other aides which are! far more 
likely to help you with your education anyway.

Honestly, if your district has restricted it you're pretty much out of luck. 
You can't sideload apps on an apple device the same way you can on an Android 
one. Even if you had the app store icon (which you probably do somewhere 
because there's no multi-user support as I know of), but even if you had the 
icon, you'd need an ID and password. That's just the plain facts.
Trying to get around that somehow might, possibly, work, depending on how it's 
been restricted, but they'll know, and you'll probably lose the device, and 
more importantly, their trust.

Honestly, if your district has restricted it you're pretty much 
out of luck.  You can't sideload apps on an apple device the same 
way you can on an Android one.  Even if you had the app store 
icon (which you probably do somewhere because there's no 
multi-user support as I know of), but even if you had the icon, 
you'd need an ID and password.  That's just the plain facts.
Trying to get around that somehow might, possibly, work, 
depending on how it's been restricted, but they'll know, and 
you'll probably lose the device, and more importantly, their 
trust.
