RE: [gecko]GGA Board List Test

2011-03-26 Thread Jon Stacy Boone
Herve and all,

I’m not sure that Samia from Morocco should be included on any GGA board
discussions until she is properly introduced, the board understands and
approves what she is doing for the board/GGA and her goals, and everyone
agrees on it. If you should choose to have her help you with your test site
that you’re developing, then that is great, but to my understanding you have
not confirmed whether or not she is interested or capable of being a part of
the future GGA web team. I prefer for most of our items on the discussion
table to be held strictly with board members, as there is no telling what
might be contained at the bottom of any email that has been forwarded to
Samia.

Best,

Jon

Hi all,

vrykolakas@ is my friend Samia from Morocco, a website programmer who
has promised me free help for the new website. Sorry if I did not mention
her before. She speaks good English and perfect French. Working for us would
give her a great opportunity to show what she did to her teachers. No wonder
she can do better and faster than Brittney's project (not meaning to be rude
against Brittney, but I showed Samia Brittney's work and she said she could
do much better than this).

Agree with Jon and other about following board protocols.

As for Samia, she sounds like she has potential. Herve, I suggest you
have her write up a proposal of ideas for the board to consider, and/or
have her appointed to work with you and the Leann/Greg team on the
website team so she can work in a supervised situation while we are
getting to know her.

Leann,

I got this message. But why bothering making a Board list, unless I am
missing something, as I am making a forum for Board members and
members alike? Have you taken a look at it?

This is just a test. The GGA Board List is not yet functional.
Archives still need to be set up.

However, if you would just respond with a hello or another friendly
word, we'll be sure we are hearing from all the right people.

2011-03-25 Thread Hervé Saint Dizier

Hi all,
vrykolakas@ is my friend Samia from Morocco, a website programmer who has
promised me free help for the new website. Sorry if I did not mention her
before. She speaks good English and perfect French. Working for us would give
her a great opportunity to show what she did to her teachers. No wonder she can
do better and faster than Brittney's project (not meaning to be rude against
Brittney, but I showed Samia Brittney's work and she said she could do much
better than this).
Best,
