Dear All,
I would like to configure the McPat xml file for obtaining the benchmark
power analysis from the gem5 FS stats. However, the current stat file has
lots of missing parameter in corresponding to Mcpat xml file. It will be
very kind to me if anyone can provide me the script to generate
Hi all,
I have tried to use MCPAT-GEM5 Parser.
When I execute the following line:
./gem5-mcpat generate ../../gem5/m5out/config.json
../../gem5/m5out/stats.txt gem5_mcpat/templates/example.xml
I received the following errors:

Hello, I recommend you to start with an working configuration (see McPAT
examples .xml) and then adding your info to see what configuration/stat

Hi Konstantinos
I think the perl file you are using is not able to parse the stat or config

check in your template xml file if the name you are using is
config.system.clock.

Hi Nithesh,
Although I am not familiar with the Mcpat scripting here is what i
suppose. In the mcpat-template the following line produces the error
stat name=runtime_sec value={stats.system.cpu.numCycles *
config.system.cpu.clock / 1e12}/
so for the runt_time_sec the script is searching
You must be using the latest gem5 dev version. Perhaps you can try
system.cpu.numCycles * config.system.cpu_clk_domain.clock / 1e12
