What is supposed to happen?
According to the guidelines, after some time we can ask for a vote for the
proposal and I do not see more

Hi,
Yes, if there are no releases from the project since entering incubation, it's
fine to disable the download section.
Or if you want to expend the extra effort, you could clearly identify the
download artifacts as non-ASF releases.

Greetings,
I am reaching out to discuss the download section on the Apache ResilientDB
(Incubating) project website - https://resilientdb.incubator.apache.org/.
Since we do not have any approved releases yet, we are considering
temporarily hiding this section to avoid any potential confusion.

Yes I understand that is not required, nonetheless changing name later is
not ideal.
I really love the name OpenServerless, but since there is a risk

That's a requirement for exiting incubation, not for entering it, as per [1] .
But it's good to have a name that doesn't need to change later, so
checking now doesn't hurt.
I followed the process described and opened the issue in the suitable name
search JIRA space.

Generally we have one champion and this person drives your entering
incubator. Later, there's no champion but all mentors.
Thus, I don't think you need to make two champions.
Best,
tison.

Cool!
I can add you as a mentor on whimsy later.
Let's also cc dev@fury.a.o for any feedback.
Best,

Hello, I do not know if it is possible to have 2 champions, but if it is, I
will happily accept both Enrico and Jean-Baptise as Champions, and also
Francois as a mentor.
I updated the serverless proposal accordingly.
I would ask: how can we check if the OpenServerless project name is
suitable?
Hi Xuanwo,
Thanks for helping review Fury release and the help with previous
releases of Fury.
Looking forward to you joining Fury as a mentor to help Fury continuously.
Best regards,

Looks great to me,
Xuanwo has been continuously active in the incubator and helped the
release of many podlings including Fury .
His experience in rust and opendal incubation would be a great help to Fury.
Looking forward to collaborating with Xuanwo.

Hi,
I am willing to join Fury as a mentor, assisting with rust-related projects and
release management to help build the community.
Please consider my suggestion. Thank you!

Hi Craig,
Thanks for your response, I apologize for any oversight on my part in
asking for our mentor's participation prior to reaching out to the
broader Incubator PMC.
Following your advice, I will contact our mentors to request their
review and voting on the Apache Fury 0.5.1 release.
Thank

Thanks, I fixed it. Also since the code is spread among many repositories I
added more contribution graphs.
Also I thought it worth to mention the project "Fantacalcio" built on top
of Nuvolaris with many contributors.

Yes, we are looking for a champion, and our mentor Enrico Olivelli

I like the proposal, especially by the relationship with several other
Apache projects.
If you look for a champion, please let me know if I can help.

Hi Chaokun Yang,
During the community vote, none of your mentors cast a vote. The first source
for binding release votes is your mentors.
Can you please ask your mentors to vote before asking the entire Incubator PMC?
Thanks,

Dear IPMC Members,
I hope this message finds you well. We have recently prepared the
Apache Fury 0.5.1 release and it has been pending review for a few
days.
Could anyone help to review the release artifacts? Your timely
assistance in reviewing our latest release would be greatly
appreciated.
I've moved the page to appear under the main Proposals page.
The champion needs to be an Apache member or an officer (e.g. a PMC
chair of an existing project).

Hi Apache Incubator members,
I would like to propose a new project to the ASF incubator - OpenServerless.
OpenServerless (currently Nuvolaris Community) is a complete Serverless
platform for Kubernetes built on top of Apache OpenWhisk, Redis, PosgreSQL,
FerredDB, Minio, APISIX and Ollama,
I made the following comment on the PR, but will include it here as well.

Best,
OK. My major intention is to sync the discussion to the list. If "lazy
consensus" is too eager to use, I'm OK to make it clear that it's still
encouraged for everyone on the list to give more inputs :D
Best,
tison.

Sorry, but I don't think it is correct to to use that designation here.
I don't think the discussion has been open long enough to say that
consensus has been achieved, nor was there an explicit call for
opinions.
