AGES ago (~2002), I was running a project that used the openapi.org which
is the RCP part of NetBeans. At that time, we had a job that downloaded the
nightly builds to be tested and incorporated into our continuous build. The
nightly, compared to source tree, had the advantage of being tested

If we have a proper maven build and set up a Jenkins nightly build, then we
have the same from repository.a.o.
We do this for many projects already.

btw, I tried to import the netbeans-core repo from hg into github and it failed.
Now trying to manually import it...
Did anybody else do that?

quick update.
hg cloned it locally and now batch importing over here.
The hg clone took me 3 hours and the import is now running for 4 hours.
Maybe that is the problem why github failed.
I'm now at 89000/303000 in the import step.
If I succeed then I'll push it to github.

This is the applicable repo to be cloning:
hg clone http://hg.netbeans.org/main/

I checked:

- LICENSE good - although short form (pointer to license text is preferred).
- NOTICE ok
- Not sure if all files have correct
+1
- Built from v0.9.0-incubating tag.- ran tests. All pass.- all good

While the release contents look odd, they're not wrong. We'll need to sort
out the rest via legal prior to graduation.
I would appreciate if the podling did start tracking a project specific
goal of resolving the BSD licensing switch over to Apache License.

After being open for over 72 hours, the vote for releasing Apache Tephra

As suggested by Justin I have added appendix to the LICENSE file for the
