Well, I just finished installing Gentoo on an older machine. I go to reboot
as the final step and discover that the drive had Quantum's Dynamic Drive
Overlay installed and that grub didn't overwrite it.
So, is there a way to remove the overlay without destroying my Gentoo install?

To answer your question - yes. You set the array up in hardware and the
system sees it as a drive. For example, my 3210S has 5 drives in the RAID
and a hot spare and this is the only disks on the system. On

I've looked all through dmesg, and I'm not getting a /dev/md0.
I've got a /dev/md/ and a /dev/rd/.
There are a whole series of files in these directories.
I can fdisk /dev/rd/1 etc but fdisk reports the size as 8 megabytes?
should i be using the MD driver or the promise driver?

This beast has a SiS746 chipset with a 963 southbridge.
Has anybody this or an other board with this southbridge?

.gtkrc .gtkrc-1.2-gnome2 .gtkrc-kde .gtkrc.mine
all files has a include for the .gtkrc.mine, so i put the lines also in

I'm having a problem with Quanta with the relevant error statements as
follows. Interestingly, I have a pretty much identically configured
machine at home and quanta works great on it. The machine does *not*
have kde installed. Anyone have an idea of what I need to do to get
quanta back
I think borken = broken, thus bork = broke or something like that...

Modeline option in XF86Config. Another thing you can try is to lower a

I installed openldap (2.0.27 ) on my machine. Also I intalled pam_ldap
