machine. I finally realized that the only major
difference between the two kernels was that I had not enabled /devfs in
2.6.2 because it is obsolete. I recompiled with it enabled and it
worked as well as with the 2.4.23 kernel.

Found it. I had put a "-w" instead of a "-v". A bifocal problem.

i've gotten the applet on my panel, but is there something

improvement with drivers newer than when the GPUs on your card were
first issued. Most of the updates are for enabling capabilities on

I haven't load on any of those types of programs. So hopefully noting
like that was installed during other emerges. I normally do a pretend
and don't remember seeing such a dependence.

as part of video generation clusters and
have had no problems with continous operation. You should sit though
the hour it takes to bring up a 40 node cluster.

Did you try a different server?
This is the two active lines from my ntpd. Everything else is commented
out. Substitute your own server for tick.uh.edu.
