Hi, all.
My company has been experimenting with GeoServer (2.0.2 and 2.1) for several
months. We use Ruby's Net::HTTP to publish image mosaics to the GeoServer via
the REST API. Both the publishing code and the GeoServer are running on 64-bit
RedHat 5 Linux (CentOS 5) with JDK 6u26. We have

Hi list,
In postgis I have a table with MULTILINESTRING, according to:
SELECT geometrytype(the_geom) from...
When I add this table (Publish) in Geserver I get
Geometrytype: LineString
Why does Geoserver not recognize geometry type correctly established in

Hi list,
I have encountered a problem with a difference in the quality of display of a
raster depending on whether the layer is in a LayerGroup or not.
On its own, i.e. not in a layer group, the image displayed is of good quality
with nice smooth text, lines etc.
In the LayerGroup the image is o

Hi all,
I was reading the GeoServer documentation, beacause I’m interested in create
a specific JSON/XML output format for WFS services.
GeoServer has their own outputformats but it seems that is possible to
create your own templates.

Hi Andy,
I have some questions for you to have more info about your system.
Which GS version are you using?
on which OS?
Are you running it on Tomcat? (If affirmative, which version? Is it >
6.0.2x?)
The full stack trace could be useful to better understand the originating
cause of the issue.
