Not sure whether it's advisable to get some LSD b
Ciao Jody,
I added a couple of ideas to both geotools an geoserver. Tomorrow I might
introduce more.

Ciao Martin, ciao Jan,
Martin's idea is great. I have been playing lately on extending the HDF
plugin that Martin and the guys
working with him put inside trunk/spike.
I need in a couple of month something more generic for netcdf, hdf and
hdf-eos.
So far I have been playing a bit with the Imagei

Asking around there was tones of stuff that SQLUnpacker did not do ...
talking to Jesse we cannot remember the details right now.
Jesse has been fixing the PostPreProcessing but could not do all the
simplification until he moves to trunk.
Yeah, 'tons of stuff', but when I asked for details all

Well thank you! (I wrote it, and was told that it was no longer good

The justification I got was that the superlongnamedvisitor had more
potential for extensibility, that in theory it'd be able to handle
filters better. Which I concede, as sqlencoder isn't designed for
filters, but
This is kind of a targeted question, but I'll throw it out to the list to see
if anyone else can answer too.
Why is SQLUnpacker deprecated?
Looking at PostPreProcessFilterSplittingVisitor the only thing I can figure
that it's doing that SQLUnpacker isn't doing is handling client-side

Thanks Martin; your change has fixed the problem.

Bryce et al,
Interesting observations, and I'm not certain that the remarks that follow
address the central question for the GeoTools project, since the community of
'newcomers' to ISO standards is large and I'm more in tune with the end users.
With that in mind...

Believe it or not, that's a big thing right now, at least for the US
contingent. Bearing in mind that no one here has th
