Sorry I missed this earlier. But work on a geotools kml parser has
already started, a very basic implementation is in place. However
perhaps there are compelling reasons for not using it, its based on the
xsd parsing stuff.

Seems both the 2.4.x and trunk builds are broken:
* 2.4.x does not compile due to new aggregate-wfs module
* trunk does not compile due to error in shapefile tests
* trunk does not pass tests due to arcgrid
I have disabled aggregate-wfs on 2.4.x and arcgrid on trunk.

raster contouring/polygonalization is something I have been wanting to
add to geotools for a while. I actually have some JAI based code which
I did not write but that has been quite useful in the past. It would
be nice to try and integrate it into geotools.

Done, I have disabled completly the rsync for now. For the record, we were using
net-misc/rsync 2.6.9-r5
on Linux Gentoo. The call in the bash script was as below:

Hi list, I'm attempting to build the arcGrid module to get the cause of the
failing build of geotools.
However, today I'm on a clean machine and due to refractions svn problems I
can't setup and build the plugin.
I hope the geotools SVN will back soon, so I can investigate on the problem.

According to the Monday's IRC meeting, a request has been done to have,
in the proposal, an example of XML file generated using the marshalling
process in JAXB. I've just attached to the proposal this file, based on
the main class of the Metadata module.
