Just leaping in here so Daniele can correct me if I'm wrong... I'm planning to deploy jai-tools version 1.0 to maven central when it's ready (and I have JTS "mavenized" and published to central as well). So this new module would be a bridge rather than a wrapper containing the jai-tools sources.
