Ciao Martin,
IMHO, it would be of great help if you put together some snippets
about coverage usage, that we can review/integrate.
Using sphinx for this is relatively straightforward.

Hi,
say one has a table or a view that contains charaters that are invalid
xml tag wise, such as spaces. For example, "My name".
That makes it impossible to use that layer for WFS purposes for sure,
but I've found that it makes it impossible to use the attribute for
other things as well. For examp

Christian,
I think that sounds like a workable solution. If you can implement the ability
to specific the implementation class, Baskar will create the necessary
implementation and we will go from there.
Thanks.

Greetings Alex,
Let me know if you need any clarification of the code. :)
Hi all,
As much as I want to continue contributing the project as an
individual, the UCOSP schedule ended at the end of April.
Alex has been working closely with the UCOSP team since the beginning
of the project, providing
Hi guys,
Sorry to hear that UCOSP is ending. But glad to hear that the module
won't be left unmaintained.
So I guess we need to get Alex commit access. The first thing would be
to get a new account on osgeo:

Once you have a username we can get
Thanks Justin,
I've now got accounts in all four places (I had one at osgeo from my
work with GEOS and GDAL already) but the other three were new.
I clicked the Developer application button and it now says it's pending :)
Thanks for the help and thank you Lim, we'll stay in touch.

Alright, you have been accepted as part of the Geotools project on
codehaus which should give you access to jira and confluence.
For commit access I assume your osgeo id is the same as your codhaus
one? atrofast?

To answer Andrea, all 4 of us who worked on this during the winter
sent all the required agreement documents by mail so the IP for the
entire unsupported/jdbc-ng/jdbc-ingres/ tree should be clean.
Of course I'm assuming sending implies delivery as I had no way to
confirm that. Who should know?

That's correct, same userid in all four places: atrofast
I will print and sign the contributor's agreement today. The UCOPS
students also sent these in.
Thanks!

Hi all,
I am currently working on getting GEOT-1981 updated and hopefully will

So I agree that we should allow property names that match to database column
names; or we need a way to encode/decode xml safe names folded into the jdbc
datastores?
I have not been able to think of a good way to fix the propertyPattern
provided; could we turn the problem around the other way a

Absolutely ! Go for it Martin :-)
But don't worry about formatting them as sphinx docs unless you're

There's a fundamental problem with technology-specific introspection
to create interoperability contracts.
Basically, you are bound by the specific persistence platform _and_
your specific introspection mechanism (and whatever "modes" you wish
to complicate it with). So if you introspect for one
