One of my Yahoo.com addresses refuses to accept anything from the List
and rejects or bounces all. I have unsubscribed it, and rejoined using
Gmail (Basic).
However my Yahoo.co.uk address works OK.
BTW Yahoo mail is to be moved to a new platform in 2015 - yet more changes.

One of the time consuming aspect of the Windows PVM with GIP v2.90
when downloading radio is that it seems to want to transcode from
whatever the Beeb offers (AAC?) to MP3. I don't need it to do that
because I can do this myself in batch offline. How can I reset aac2mp3
to 'off' in the Windows PVM

Thanks for the response. Huh - it was due to an intermittent wifi
connection - it kept disconnecting and reconnecting. Even a reset of
the server didn't work. Seems that the server might have been getting

the process failed and my PC crashed (likely vice versa!!). Is there
an option to capture the o/p to the PVM cmd window to a log file, so
that this could be opened in say Notepad to see what went wrong and
when the processing stopp
ng it to send further emails.
The solution is to put this person on moderation or to delete his account.

Clicked on PVM in Start menu.
Got a black screen for http://localhost:1935/
But no search window with search / refresh fields.
All I got was the black window with the field headings:

Damn - the downloading of a t.v. programme went OK until the
conversion from flv to mp4. However the PVM log stated that the flv
file would be kept - and it was. However is there a command line

To download Hancock's Half Hour I have the search term Name =
'hancock' in my Windows PVM list including Type=Radio
Yet for weeks GiP has not been downloading anything.
I have now checked at the iPlayer site and there are lots of Hancock
episodes to download.
I have done a manual search for Name
the cache that is
failing to pick up certain programmes - unfortunately the ones I had
been assuming would be downloaded OK.
Now I have to search back through the downloads and see what are missing.

But on checking whilst no list of new TV programmes was displayed -
the TV cache is 455kb and on opening into Notepad seems to have

Audacity is the music editing app. that I am most familiar with. I

I also use it to process downloads from get_iplayer.
However with Microsoft's increasingly aggressive stance in forcing
upgrades to Windows 10 I am concerned. I have heard that Audacity does
not work with Win 10
