How is a nested X server established technically? Is the window for the
the nested X server a normal X client as viewed by the hosting root X
server? And what's the trick to enabling window managers within this
virtual X root server?

Any ideas on how Windows(-doze not appropriate here) does it? On exactly
the same hardware

Network activity measured with gkrellm is at the most 400k per second,
which is 1/20th of the 100Mb network capacity.
No swapping.
Digital clock in application image updates every 21 seconds, instead of
every 1-2 seconds, as seen when app runs locally.
