[Gimp-developer] An Early GSoC Purpose: Better nonlinear resampler for GEGL

2009-03-05 Thread Jenny
Hi all, I'm a student and interested in an GSoC idea: Better nonlinear resampler with built-in antialiasing (GEGL) suggested by Nicolas. I have prepared to implement this idea for days, but today I found jungle had discussed this topic in January.

Hello Jenny: Thank you very much for your interest in this project. You unfortunately picked the one project for which I have someone in mind already. (This proves your good taste!) I am double checking with this student that he wants this project as a GSoC. If so, he'll be my first choice for

Hi all, we have discussed this intensely before, the ambiguity of what you really got in your document window after opening--or saving to--a non-GIMP-type image (e.g. jpeg, png). The discussion returned on the irc this Monday, and I realised then that some remaining nagging use cases could be s

Read this with intrest (as a user) what is the intrinsic difference between save a copy and save as? I am assuming the working document changes in the save as case to the new saved as file. In the save a copy case I assume the working doment is unchanged. One suggestion in the revert...would it b

Nicolas, Thank you very much for your reply. I'm a graduated student(Grade 1) majored in image processing and very interested in algorithms related to this field. I have prepared for this program (learning GEGL's code, searching papers on resampling algorithm, reading related code of matlab image
