Hi guys/girls,
I'm really frustrated with the storke tool in gimp
1.3.23, and I hope it's because of my ignorance.
Almost all selections (except rectangular ones) turn
out really ugly when storked...here is an example with
a circle

Please help me out.

Thanks Raphael :)
That sounds good...as long as there is something to
look forward to.
Also the current options...I find they are pretty
useless and don't do much, as for
Hi all,
I'm just wondering is it being planed by anyone to
include some feature like the layer effects in
photoshop in any gimp release (soon)? If not, if
someone has time to just write some tutorials on how
to achieve some of the layer effects (e.g. emboss,
inner shadow, etc.) I would really appr
Hi developers,
Once agian I'd like to congradulate you for the
magnificent work you've done. Thank you.
I'm using gimp2-pre2, when I do the following,
something unwanted happens:
1.)Create a new image
2.)Click on the T (text tool)
3.)Go to the
4.)Click and type away. All this works fine.

Hi all,
I find that when you have more than ten fonts and try
to choose a good one, it takes lots of time because
you have to click in everyoneblah..blah
If you could make a feature so one can youse the
arrows on the keyboard and see how a font looks, and check out the next font instead of h

Hi developers,
I was really excited to find this layer-effect
script-fu. I found out though that it only works for
gimp 1.2* and not 2. According to my understanding it
only needs a few miner changes to work with gimp2. Is
anyone up to the challenge of fixing this?

Thanks alot Kevin.
Now I'm wondering why is this not included with the
default gimp install?

One of the tools that I absolutely love is the
"dynamic" shortcut tool. If you set this in the
preferences, then go to one menu highlight a tool then
just press a letter, this letter will become the new
shortcut of the tool and it's sweet :) (I should say
that it took a while to discover this nice

I like the menu but it would be even better to make
some sort of scroll in the menu. What am I talking
about?
Say I have a small imagethe menu gets cut in half.
If there was a way to make that menu scrollabe so
everything can be seen, it would be ni

Speaking of a context menu there should b
Hi all.
I'm not sure if this bug has been reported but I just
found out what I can't read a directory that starts
with a ~ (tilda, the actual name is
"~gezim.hoxha")...I know that I'm supposed to "search"
bugzilla and then report this...but frankly I
registered an account and it's too complicated.

Sorry I forgot, it was 2.0.4 then I upgraded to 2.0.6
but still it seems unable to open them. At the bottom
of the Open Image window it said "Folder unreadable:
success"...

Actually Sven I'll try and report this on my own, I
found some guides on how to report bugs at the
bugzilla site ...I'll see how it goes because it's
really interesting bug..
