Recently I upgraded Gimp to 1.1.29 and all my perl-gimp programs went for
a toss,I am lost as no errors are thrown at me.(Starting gimp or running
perl script)

the compilations fails due to unavailability of PDL.pm on the system.

I have a problem with rotating the text
when I rotate the text to 45 deg / 3.14/4 rad
it looses it sharpness and the characters breaks
it is a big eye sore
I am using gimp_floating_selection_attach
gimp_floating_selection_anchor does not help either
I have tried antialising feathering but

to about 8 Kb
