I downloaded the HELP package from http://mirror.umd.edu/gimp/gimp/help/windows/2.8/2.8.1/ and installed it. When I try to use it in GIMP I still get the message that I don't have HELP installed. OS: Windows 7 home premium - service pack 1 - 2009 GIMP: 2.8.10 Can't access gimp.org today - anyone

I managed to lock both the pixels and the alpha channel on an image; how do I unlock them? They don't seem to toggle on and off like the layer lock does. I've Googled and gotten lots of things about how to lock, but nothing on how to undo it. Thanks for any tips. -- *Life is short. Pet more dogs.
