This doesn't answer the question of integrating GIMP with your browser but
something to consider is this:
If you are on a WIN platform, the snipping tool image can be saved as a JPG
or a PNG. PNG will give you a noticeably better image than JPG, especially
with type. Take a look at something
Hi. Can someone tell me how to get rid of a text box. I have successfully
put my text in the text box, but now I have a dotted yellow line outlining
the text box and do not know how to get rid of it.
Thanks.

What I typically do is, using the Ellipse Selection Tool, I make a selection of
whatever size I need the circle to be and fill it with a color. From there, I
make a smaller selection within the first circle and clear it (Delete key or

There are many free tutorials that will show you how to use GIMP to make
graphic buttons. Try searching 'gimp buttons' or something.

I frequently work with scanned or photographed handwritten documents and have

files, but I also often read documents online. I would like to apply the same
tools to images in my browser but I am not sure where to start.
I have tried to add this simple 'play button" to a simple rectangle, but the ply
button circle is not smooth-edged, can you help me smooth it, or suggest a
solution, or provide me with another image, that I can use? See attached...
