[Gimp-user] Unlocking pixels and alpha channel
I managed to lock both the pixels and the alpha channel on an image; how do I unlock them? They don't seem to toggle on and off like the layer lock does. I've Googled and gotten lots of things about how to lock, but nothing on how to undo it. Thanks for any tips. -- *Life is short. [Gimp-user] Unlocking, part 2
Well, for some reason, clicking and holding the locked elements for several seconds, and then dragging the cursor away from them, managed to unlock them. -- *Life is short. [Gimp-user] Saving Image other Than in .xcf format
Hi all, I find that to save an image in .jpg format one has to 'export' or 'export as' to a file-name.jpg. But after doing that when I wish to exit GIMP, it says ,'There is one image with unsaved changes' and the window declaring that has no 'save; button. Then how does one save the seemingly 'unsaved image'? These are the top 3 icons in the tool options beside the word Transform: It has Layer selected by default. The only trick is if you want to transform just the path instead of the entire layer. To do so you must use the path to selection option before applying the transformation. If you need more help just ask. I have some video tutorials that cover this, but it's a part of a longer tutorial. -- akovia ___ gimp-user-list mailing list List address:gimp-user-list@gnome.org List membership: https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user-list List archives: https://mail.gnome.org/archives/gimp-user-list

That turns out not to be the case. If you select a path, then select the transform tool and select the path icon for what to Affect, it applies only to the selected path. You don't want to transform a path to a selection and then transform back because you can get a lot of additional points on the path. ___ gimp-user-list mailing list List address:gimp-user-list@gnome.org List membership: https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user-list List archives: https://mail.gnome.org/archives/gimp-user-list
