e (not from GIMP but from
MS): ModName msvcrt.dll, ModVer: 7.0.2600.5512. This file was changed by SP3
(!), but there were files from MAGIX and Nero with the same name, but in other
directories.
I hope, it helps a little bit.

for your information: We have created a gap-2-6 branch and intend to do
a 2.6.0 release of the GIMP Animation package in about a week.
It will contain improvements in storyboard editing and processing
and video encoding that now was updated to use ffmpeg0.5 as main
engine for encoding and decoding
er Programs.
(ffmpeg for example).
One of the planed features for future GIMP-GAP releases
(2.2 or later)
is direct video encoding on the fly with some integrated
videoencoders (at least ffmpeg will be supported).
