Diane, The Google Product Forums are a bit different than regular Google Groups. I believe you're correct in that email addresses are not revealed there. But do be careful if you post to any Google Groups and are expecting that your email address will not be revealed as that isn't the case.

Diane, That depends on the list server and the options available to the moderators. For the Yahoo and Google groups that I moderate, I don't see an option to set the from address to the group. This is considered bad practice anyway, which is probably why I don't see how to do it with Yahoo or

I am curious about the following: When I receive updates *within Gmail* from members of this group, their name only shows when the message is collapsed. No problem. However, if the cursor is hovered over the name or picture/avatar, the person's full Gmail address is visible. If the message
