[GNC] GnuCash performance on an Apple M1

Hi everyone, I'm considering upgrading my computer to something faster to run GnuCash (I have a pretty large database). So I'm looking for good single core performance. Apple's M1 chip has good single core performance, but GnuCash needs Rosetta 2 to run (an emulator). Does anyone have hands on

Same here no problems on both Macs running Big Sur. No point in referring us to your screenshot - remember as per John Ralls' reply it never made it to the mailing list - in-line images don't work, you need to save it as a file on your desktop and attach it to an email, that seems to work ok.

I upgraded from version 3.6 to version 4.6 and when I add a new price for a stock it only takes 2 digits, previously I had 5 digits. How do I change it to 5 digits. I can’t find the screen to have it keep 5 digits. I enter the price as 5 digits, but when I save it it coverts it to 2 digits.

In the price database the precision is individually set for each currency or commodity. That is defined in the securities database using the Security editor, normally when you initially define the currency or security, tho you can change it later. If you are at the stage of entering a
