Well the simple answer is "wherever you saved it" - if you saved a Word or
Excel document somewhere on your pc would you expect others to know exactly
where you had saved it :-) I'm assuming you're using Windows here because
of the file path name but I could be wrong. Anyway GnuCash thinks you

Since the goal is to make it as convenient as possible for clients to
pay, I'd really like to present them with a simple document that clearly
indicates the total outstanding amount owing, rather than a series of
invoices they have to try to sum up.
Perhaps the solution is to send
Send them a Customer Report
That's what it's for.

Yes, assets is exactly right!
When creating your budget, enter the amount you plan to transfer into
your savings account every month under Assets>Savings, rather than an
expense account, and that should do it!
Essentially what you're doing is budgeting to plan to have your assets

I’ve just started using this software, completed entries, saved as instructed,
and when I went to open my file the following message was received.
The file/URI /Users/yvonnePC/Desktop/Gnucash Accounts.gnucash could not be
found.
Please, where can I find all the work I’ve input.
