You haven't seen the lesson plans for the higher grades in the US. I'd
be willing to bet that 8th Standard kids in Goa know more Math and
Science than 12th grade kids in US public schools. And speaking of the
parents' qualifications, don't forget that in California in the early
90's
Homeschooling obviously did not help Vivian. In fact I
wonder if any kind of schooling would have helped :-)
