Banking has certainly come of age in India, but as per the mails we read,
the service is provided is not up to the standard unless one does know
someone at the bank, or one opens his/her account in the Village. With the

Could someone take on the responsibility of compiling the various
problems expats (and local residents too!) face while dealing with
banks? This could then be sent to either the banking ombudsman, or to
the NRI Commissioner for Goa (in the case of expats).
