I think the change that will have the biggest effect on my later round strategy is that, if I understand correctly, we will not have access to the test data from the Small/Visible data sets when programming the Large/Hidden data sets. For many problems I would solve the Small by brute force and

Hi, There were 1000 advancers from each Round 1 into Round 2 last year, for a total of 3000. There are 1500 advancers from each round in 2018, for a total of 4500. The confusion probably arises because there were 500 advancers from Round 2 to Round 3 last year, and that's also the case this year.

That may sound like a stupid question. But since there is now 4000 more participants that can move to round 2, does it means that there is no more three round 1 session (A, B, C) ? Envoyé de mon iPhone > Le 7 mars 2018 à 22:34, Bartholomew Furrow a écrit : > > That is a sad

I found one interesting rule. For each problem, only two submissions matters: 1) the first submission that passed the most visible tests; 2) the last submission. Whichever grant you more points. In case they have the same points, the 1) one will be used. Bartholomew Furrow
