AT UTHSCSA our labs currently shown in babel are not correctly mapped from EPIC
component IDs. Rather than curate the lab data into categories, we're working
on a UMLS meta-thesaurus LOINC implementation, which should be deployed soon.

At UTHSCSA, our preliminary findings seem to show that we get 98% mapping of
Clarity component IDs to LOINC using either UMLS meta-thesaurus or UNMC terms
(from PCORnet loincv3_unmc_export.csv).

So, you are using text analysis and matching? The stats seem unusually high to
me. Have you done any manual review for validation?

What you transcribed is exactly what we agreed at Hackathon I(KU March 2014).
Hubert just exposed our modifiers deployed on Babel and we have gone part way
on the installation but we are adding a second ontology layer for SNOMED CT.
I think that Cerner was researching their problem
