Hi Roland,
since GPGMail 2 is re-using as much Apple code as possible (and therefore
behaves like S/MIME and fixes many, many issues of GPGMail 1) and Apple decided
not to show security information when you hide the header information, this
feature is not planned.

Hi Bernd, if this is reproducible and only happens when GPGMail is
loaded, please create a ticket at

Thank you, Alex

Thank you!
A few notes for non-developers:
You have to unhide your Library folder:
chflags nohidden ~/Library/
You need to make a folder called Bundles in ~/Library/Mail and copy this file
into it. Then restart Mail.
Simple tests of decryption, encryption and signing all worked great.
Thanks

I think you both only sleep 3h per day! ;)
I can't wait to get an early alpha and start messing around with it.

Hi Henrik,
I have an alpha almost ready, but it's still pretty unstable and a lot of work.
It will be released on the development list in the next few days, but if you
need it urgently I can send you a copy now.
For now there are a lot of limitations such as:
- Only creates GPG/MIME messages

Hi Patrick, hi Michael, hi Arthur, hi all,
some side notes:
* If you are interested in testing very early alpha versions of the new
GPGMail, it might be a good idea to join the devel mailing list (maybe you
already are subscribed?). Any alpha versions will be announced on that list.

Hi Patrik,
you're absolutely right and in fact it's also planned this way right now.
Unfortunately for the Lion version a lot of code has been rewritten and cleaned
up,
which should male GPGMail more stable, but still needs some work done, before
it can be released to the wild.
As soon as our tes
FWIW, I think it is absolutely possible and workable to have a version released
where for example GUI for settings is _not_ implemented. That way people can
try and see whether the actual functionality in Mail.App works.
The settings file should be possible to edit by hand, or use the old one.
Hi Lukas,
thx for infos.
Yes, please include me for testings.

Michael

hi michael,
"work" is greatly exaggerated, but if time allows, I'll push a lot of changes
to it later today, which should already do basic encryption and decryption.
we've also planned to release an alpha version among developers,
so if you want to we include you in that release.
have a nice day
Hi Lukas,
does the github checkout of the lion branch already work?
Last change has been on 15th July.

Hi Bill,
we're hard at work on a Lion compatible version, which is supposed to work even
better than the current one.
We're making great progress on it so It should not be too long until you can
enjoy the full power of GPGMail again.
Have a nice day,

Hi Antonio,
All of GPGTools with the exception of GPGMail already works on the current
developer preview of OS X Lion. This includes GPGServices, GPG Keychain Access
and the other things bundled in the installer.
We can't say for sure if everythin
Hi Antonio,
we are working on it. Lukas has already done some modifications to get GPGMail
under way using Lion, but it's not working 100%, yet.
