There are very distinct points :
- easyness of installation of gregorio
- use of gregorio : now there are 2 ways to use gregorio : LaTex and
Scribus. People who wants to use gregorio must invest in one of these 2
ways. It must be thought of other ones, for exmple, I have used with big
success,
I feel that GUI, more than that we have now, is not a good idea(1), but
what I am sure, is that a GUI is another project.
This is indeed a very important point: Gregorio will never integrate a
GUI, it will maybe enable facilities to create one, but, as a Linux
user, I always remember the Unix
That said, jgabc http://code.google.com/p/jgabc/ used in
http://www.illuminarepublications.com/gregorio/ can play the score so maybe
a first step into a GUI could be to wrap it into some Webkit widget or just
a chrome web app like
