We saw the Hoot Judkins, but the quality is not as good as Barn Furniture
and Amish Direct. Both the latter places will cut deals. About 10-15% off
and free shipping is the range

We're not looking for used furniture (unless you know someone with some
great antiques). We'll just get the patio furniture we want to begin with,
and buy it in Sacramento or by mail order and have it delivered
BTW, I wanted curtain fabric by the yard because this house has six
basic sizes of windows, plus a few outliers, and the architect had no
problem with putting two or three sizes, shapes, and placements of
windows in one room. I ended up buying lace drapes from all four of the
historic lace

That fabric. The response was NA. Sigh...
Coincidentally, I just got an email from Dharma asking
Cost Plus has nice cotton curtains.

What a great idea! I am always having trouble finding cotton shear enough!
Dharma carries the right weight, but only in sarongs (72 lengths). Their
other cottons are quite wonderful, but heavier than one needs for a nice
Regency.
Have gotten a sample of their cotton lawn?

Coincidentally, I just got an email from Dharma asking for suggestions about
what new fabrics people want to see, so it might be worthwhile to email them.
Nope.
My curtains are a 100% cotton brocade with a period 16'th century design.
Once I get tired of them, they are going to get dyed and made into a Tudor
dress.

Restoration Hardware and Pier One both had really nice Indian cotton panels

No, but if I go to the goodwill store or salvation army store I look for
curtains thinking these might work well for a costume. The way my house
looks inside and out, just doesn't work well with formal or fancy that could
be used later for any costumes. 1970s style house.
