Why not get a treadle and use it as a treadle? Over on treadleon at quiltropolis we all actually use the antique machines. Best straight stitch ever. My preferred method of sewing, actually. But, if you want just the table, I'm sure you can find one locally on ebay or craigslist or free

Fran, you might also want to check the Vintage Flea Market on Alameda Point - first Sunday of every month. I have seen them there, with and without machines. But like all flea markets, it's hit or miss when one will be there. Look around and ask people. Most of the folks there are business people
