The problem iwirh simmering things with ink in something that will dilute the
stain is that if you are lucky(?) it merely Tues into a dye that now permeates
the entire garment, rarely evenly at that, which i believe is how the problem
got to be so bad in the first place. If i am not mistaken,

Try soaking your blouse overnight in a *very* strong solution of OxyClean
powder (or generic thereof). Strong, as in just dump it in.
For spot cleaning on white fabric, I've had a lot of success rubbing a paste of
OxyClean and liquid hydrogen peroxide onto the stain (chemical reaction = heat,
i would first try that stuff that fizzes oxiclean. then procede with the
carbonne dydmagnet spto treat ment of leaving it soking over the stain and keep
wetting it an swtihing it out. i dont think it can hurt a repro and it should
lighten the stains some... maybe completely if you do it enough

Hi folks,
The eBay seller chick1154 sells Kershaw's Laundry Starch in 200g bags;
they're in the UK with reasonable prices and shipping. They also carry
Argo Laundry Starch.
Argo is also available through lehmans.com in the US. Lehman's carries
genuine lye soap, too. :)
Have fun!

Thanks for the links. The photos are pretty good eye candy.

To be precise, Amazon provides a front end for third-party
retailers. For instance, I found Argo being sold by Barnes Health Care. I
ASSUME Amazon takes a cut from every sale, so you might be doing the
retailers a favor by buying direct from them.
