a female on the telephone briefly. Then at 09035, typical local music
presented which was followed by the same female commenting afterwards.
She mentioned Bolivia a couple of times. Signal was fair with splatter.

Unident, 4800, 1008-1115, I usually have two carriers around 4800 kHz.
One is GTM and the second is Mexico, but not this early. This morning I
heard a station exactly on 4800 KHz with a male in rapid Spanish comments.
The character of the talk sounded religious. The male talking
lasted until
Germany, (non), 6045, IBC Tamil Radio, (pres), 0010-0035, Buried in
the splatter, the signal is just audible with a poor signal. Noted a male
in rapid talk while a female comments briefly with him. Could not ID the
language but it wasn't English or any other language I could give a name.

Iran, 6095, Voice of the Islamic Rep of Iran, (pres), 0235-0330 I've been
hanging out on this freq for almost an hour, trying to catch somekind of ID.
I heard a male mentioned Iraq a few times, but other than that, nothing
significant. Signal remained down in the poor range with hardly any
China, 5030, China National Radio 1, 1025-1035 With the usual Chinese
comments
from a male and female. The AOKI database says this is being transmitted
via Beijing
number 572. Checked the list for a parallel and found it on 6175 KHz using
with the
same site and number, Beijing 572. Both
Bolivia, 6134.80, Radio Santa Cruz, 0935-1101, Monitored this off and on
during the
period specified. Noted plenty of Spanish language comments between a male
and
female with canned ID's here and there. ...Radio Santa Cruz... Signal
varied between

South Africa, 17770, Channelo Africa, 1502-1515, Noted a female in English
language

Seychelles, 6005, BBC, 0220-0230 Noted male (2) talking with news and
features.
Noted BBC mentioned often. Signal was poor.
Germany (non) 6045, Tamil Radio (pres), Relay, 0034-0100* Noted a halfhour
of steady comments in Tamil Language(?) by a male. Heard a few familiar
words like Hamas and Isalm, but couldn't pick out an ID during the
comments. Signal began as poor, but slowly improved to fair by the end of
Philippines, 9615, Radio Veritas Asia, 1120-1135+ At tune in, noted
religious music until about 1122. This was followed by a brief comments
in Chinese from a female and then a male in long Chinese language
discourse, which was probably religious? Signal experienced fading
while it remained
Bolivia, 6134.80, Radio Santa Cruz, 1030-1039, The
signal was barely audible
with a female in Spanish language comments. By 1039,
the signal had disappeared

time I wasn't sure if
I heard the station or didn't? It was one of those
times when the noise on the
band was so great, any signal heard or thought to be
heard, was doubtful. Any-
way, at tune in, I heard a female talking for a minute,
Russia, 6075, Radio Rossii, 1015-1040 Presently this
is the only freq
where I hear Radio Rossii. Even so, the signal never
gets beyond a
poor. Consequently, I wasn't able to hear much from
the station except
in broad terms which were Russian Language comments
from a male
and in between,
Bolivia, 5952.29, Emisoras Pio XII, 0057-0110, Have a
threshold
signal on this freq with a female in Spanish language
comments
with a second female. The audio is very weak, while
the carrier
is easy to hear. As mentioned above, the signal is
threshold.

the only comfortable
listening station on the band this morning. With
hardly any fading, noted
talk radio format with a bunch of commericals every
five minutes or less. Plenty
of ID's at the end of the TC, ... CFRB 1010 talk

Indonesia, 9525, Voice of Indonesia, 1045-1100 Noted a weak signal
here with music and comments from a female. Lot's of noise on the
band, but bearable. Signal was poor.

with some ADs or Promos. Band was really noisy this morning making copy
difficult for the weaker stations like Bandeirantes tough.

while hoping it was Bolivian for a moment, but
unfortunately it turned out to be from Ecuador. At 0937, male
began commenting in Spanish. Found a parallel signal on 3220
KHz to help with identing this. Signal was
Ecuador, 6080, HCJB, 0225-0230, Noted steady Ecuadorian type music of a
popular tune. Noted a female in Spanish language comments between tunes.
Checked 3220 KHz for parallel which was there, but rather weak. In recent
mornings I've notice Bolivia's San Gabriel reported on this freq. I
Korea, North 9650, Voice of Korea, 0930-0940, Noted a female
in Japanese language comments followed with Choral type music. It
didn't sound too bad. Infact it was kind of cheerful at times. At 0936

air abruptly at 1400. During the half hour on the air, noted a series of
news and commentary in the Tibetan (pres) language. Signal was good. Had
trouble finding this listed in WRTH 2009 or the Passport? Both EIBI and
Romania, 6015, Radio Romania International, 2340-2359, Checked in to an
English language broadcast of the Mailbox program. Announcers reading
letters and answering requests from listeners. These involved hearing local
music from Romanian Society. At 2346,
full ID by a female in English then
Northern Mariana Islands (Relay), 9520, Radio Liberty, 0915-0930, Noted a
program of news and commentary in the Russian language. Signal was coming

Russia, 6075, Radio Rossii, 0940-1000, Just beginning to fade in
Australia, 9500, Radio Australia, 2148-2200 Noted two males in English
language conversation. Their conversation continue until 2157
when the signal dropped off the air. It's didn't return. Incidently, that

female in conversation or interview type talk. The language being used
sounded like Afrikaans, but couldn't be sure. It
definitely wasn't English. Signal fade from fair to threshold. (Chuck

Indonesia, 9525, Voice of Indonesia, 1122-1130 At tune in, noted a female
giving language lessons until 1123. It seemed to me that the broadcast is
in Chinese but not perfectly sure? At 1124 female continues in comments
with background music. Then just a normal program of music followed.
Bolivia, 4716.73, Radio Yura, 1020-1030 At tune in, heard local type music
mainly using flute and drum. At 1022 a female Spanish language comments,
just briefly, then back to music. I haven't heard this station for a month
or so due to the local noise I am experiencing here at my location.
Peru, 5025, Radio Quillabama, 1005-1015, Not a very good catch. Noted
Quillabama under Radio Rebelde which dominated. Heard mainly music with
some Spanish comments from a male. Signal was very poor. (Chuck Bolland,

language religious comments. This person is the usual Preacher that is
often heard on Radio Victoria at this time. This is a very difficult log
since Victoria is under the station on 6020 KHz, probably Australia. To hear
Libya, 17725, Voice of Africa, 1445-1500 Noted a program in English of
political and commentaries talk by various person. At 1450
noted an ID ...Voice of Africa ... by a female. All talk was related while
music played in the background.Signal was fair.

preacher who has a tendency to plead in his tonal presentation. Using
LSB mode to clean up the signal from a Het
on 6020 KHz. Signal was fair until the hour

Please check 4980 khz for Spanish broadcast. Don't have anyone
on that freq who speaks Spanish.

preceding time says 2330 UTC, I've been sitting on 6134.77 KHz
for almost 15 minutes prior. The signal however, just started to fade
in at a threshold level and by 2333 what already at a poor level.
Noted a lot of loud and excitable
Portugal, 15170, RDP International, 1700-1800, Heard a program of
Portuguese Popular music with Portuguese comments between the
tunes. Noted a parallel program on 15560 KHz which was much better in
signal quality; however 15170 wasn't bad with a good signal.

Taiwan, 7185, R Taiwan International, 1130-1145+ Noted a male and female in
Chinese language comments. This was parallel with 9680 KHz where Taiwan has
been lately interferring with that Indonesian there. 7185's signal is very
good while 9680 is poor.
Here on 7185 KHz I can hear a weak Asian

it was a very weak signal with various individuals in
Chinese language comments and news. Looked for a parallel,
but none were propagating in at that time. At 1200 China had faded in to a
poor level from it's original

Japanese language comments. The female seemed to be reading
comments as if Japanese was not her language. Her reading was
slow and deliberate. Latest version that I have of AOKI says
that Japanese is scheduled between 1130 to
Russia, 5940, Radio Rossii, Magadan, (pres)1000-1035. Heard an
ID but it was muffled and bassy which prohibitted me from understanding it.
Noted a male and female in Russian language news and commentary. Between
items a few bars of music. Radio Rossii by a male at 1010. Signal was
fair. I
Peru, 4826.50, Radio Sicuani, 0920-0930, Noted a male in Spanish
language comments while music presented. Music was Huaynos type.
CODAR was broadcasting on the freq too while Sicuani was at a

threshold signal here with a male and female talking together in English.

This was followed with the program ID as, La Voz de Biblia. A male and
female talking followed. The frequency at this period was clear of any
interference; even though the signal was poor and details were difficult to

in English language World news. At 0009 another woman switched to
Romanian news still in English. BTW noted an ID between the two news
categories. At 0015 noted an ID as, You are listening to Radio Romania
International
Peru, 6019.30, Radio Victoria, 0845-0859, Had a clear signal here with
no QRM until 0859. Initially noted two males in Religious Spanish comments
preaching off each other's comments. At 0852, a female comments and
begins crying over the air while she is comforted by another male. Finally,
I just updated the EIBI and AOKI database. You can

in Spanish Language comments which I believe were religious. For instance,
heard the word Palabra during the comments. At 2337, religious music sung.

ABC News ... announced by a female. This was followed
with more news. Signal dropped off the air at 0841 exactly. I guess they
had forgotten to turn off the transmitter earlier when they're scheduled to

presenting news it seemed. Victoria's signal was good, but it was being
knocked
around by Radio Marti's signal on 6030 KHz with splatter. At 0844 canned

Signal is getting weak rapidly as the day gets older. By 1057 it's
impossible
to distinguish Rossii in all of the noise. Signal went from fair to

just starting to fade in, noted a male and female in Spanish language
comments. At 2324, the signal becomes more readable. Canned
promos noted at 2325. Signal never imrpoved beyond a poor

of this one. Noted a female in Spanish language during the majority of the
time. Every once in awhile, a male briefly comments. The noise is very
bad.
Consequently, significant details are lacking. At 0936 the signal

with
only the carrier audible, at 2319 the audio popped in with a female in
Spanish
comments. She's shortly joined by a male. This continues to 2330 and

sound of the name often throws me. The ID was followed with news in
the Russian language. Commentary and news continue during the time.

recordings in mp3.
Each recording is only 20 to 30 seconds each. There's plenty of ID's which
I can't
understand. Maybe you can? Drop me a note with translations if you can

type music with an ID by a male over the music. Significantly muffled
to make details difficult to pull out. This format continued with talking
over the music periodically during the time period. I noticed drifting of
the signal

signal, Radio Victoria was an easy catch this morning. Noted a male in
mostly Spanish language news. Periodically he gave a TC and ID. At 0859
Radio Australia tunes up and begins broadcasting with their IS. Victoria
Singapore (pres), 6140, Radio Japan,(pres), 1015-1030, Noted a male in
comments
(Indonesian is listed for this freq and time), with music interspersed
during the period.
ID is based on schedule and frequency. The signal is poor and the audio is
even poorer. At 1030, the station went off

in the AOKI database, note two males in Chinese language comments. Signal

weak signal here with music at tune in. This was followed with comments

identified a broadcast here at this time as GTRK, Russia. The WRTH-09
on page 456 gives a
Bolivia, 6155.22, Radio Fides, 0015-0030, As the signal faded in, noted
music. At 0020 a male talks in Spanish then back to music immediately.
At 0027 it sounds like promos on the air then two males talk. So much

It deteriorates from a fair to threshold by the hour

freq is parallel with 5940 (poor) and 7320 (fair). Although WBOH
is mixing here with Rossii, WBOH is barely audible while Rossii is
at a fair level. Rossii

here as the signal would fade in for a couple of seconds, then drop

by typical CP music - plenty of flutes. After the music the
comments continue. Signal remained poor until 0158 when it
just faded in to a good level for a minute or two. At
Peru, 4826.50, Radio Scuani, 0143-0201* Noted music at tune in,
then at 0144 male in Spanish comments with live ID and other
chatter for awhile with a second male. Lots of mention of Lima
and Peru in chatter. Back to music at 0148 until 0201 when off
the air with a few comments. Couldn't make
Bolivia, 6134.78, Radio Santa Cruz, 1015-1030 Noted a male and female
in somekind of lesson. They seemed to be explaining something in Spanish
language. Although the signal was fairly good, I could pull out the
significance
of the comments. As mentioned, the signal was good. (Chuck
Indonesia, 9525, Voice of Indonesia, 1053-1101, At tune in, noted a
program of Islamic type music. At 1059 a female comments in English.
ID at 1100 as Voice of Indonesia ...9525 15125 11785 ... suggestion ...

in Spanish language comments. Lots of high octane comments, but
weak and in the noise. At 2325 music presented for a moment. Signal was
threshold under noise if that's possible? Rechecked the freq at 2355
and signal had
United States, 5446.50, AFRTS, 0005-0015, Noted a talk show
program with two females discussing children and child care. Signal
was heard using Upper Sideband and was at a good level.
