One of Blockbuster Video's
biggest days in rental sales is christmas day. You wont believe the
amount of commerce involved on seemingly dead days of the
year. Retail usually makes a killing.
We can all see how well outlawing drugs has worked, or alcohol in the
'20s. Prohibition creates more crime and social problems than the drug
itself. If you outlaw tobacco, people will just start growing it in their
houses, yards, national forests, etc. Ever seen a booby trapped pot

Okay this is going to be a bit long but I figured I would interrupt
all the off topic spew currently flying around here with a rant that
was actually on topic. I have been struggling with a HTPC for months
now and it is the main focus of my rant, but it actually applies to

if everyone lived by common sense and decency nothing would
need to be outlawed. After WW1 there were practically no gun laws, it was
legal ( and should still be ) to own literally anything the military owed

it's hard to comment. Maybe a flaky power supply? Maybe the motherboard is
not mounted correctly? The only problems I've had with

I looked at it, but I was hoping to do it without spending money. :)

I did something stupid. I downloaded Abit's FlashMenu utility used it
to update the BIOS on my NF7-S Ver. 2 board. Guess what? It won't boot
at all now. I don't even get any beeps. The power supply comes on along
with all of the fans (CPU, case, video card, etc.) as well as the
hard drives CDROMS.
Are you sure you downloaded the right bios? I once flashed a Shuttle system
with the wrong bios. It didn't verify at all to see if I was flashing with
the correct one. Luckily, I caught it before I rebooted(windows flash
utility).
Does Abit have one of those Cd-roms that you can use? Asus now
