Not sure if this helps but I have a couple netgear switches that I have to reboot about 1x every month when I notice slowdowns during large file transfers. Once rebooted the network throughput goes back to normal. (IE goes from about 10 mbps to 75mbps). Seems weird to me but always fixes the issue

I was getting that same error a while back. It was happening for about a month every day or two, and sometimes all through the day I'd have hard lockups. I stress tested the hardware and everything passed but I would notice long pauses at times that seemed to be related to accessing an older HDD.

I agree that closed loop is the best way to go if using liquid cooling.. I'm using 3 closed loop cooling systems and they work well. I don't care to use DIY setups because of possible leaks, etc. 2 of them are single fan + radiator and the 3rd is quad fan + radiator on a threadripper system.

I've been using one of these for a couple years. It so far has cloned everything I've attempted and also will resize data if replacement HDD is larger than original For system drives I usually replace with an identical model HDD but have done a few to different drive and not had issues so far
