I just looked at the book's introduction.  It is  a book about the Jewish Bible-- for Christian Children--it's title is misleading. I wonder whether the rabbi who wrote the foreward was aware of this.  I've seen this phenomenon numerous times in books on Israel or the Middle East -- scholars

I never realized it either. Note that there is a difference between DK’s The Illustrated Jewish Bible for Children and DK’s The Children’s Illustrated Jewish Bible (with CD). The Illustrated Jewish Bible for Children is the one for Christians which talks about the Old and New Testament. The
