I was getting that same message. But I found out for some reason it was because I was using remote desktop sharing to connect to my server box and start the dedicated server manually. When I would actually go to the computer and do it on the physical machine it's self it had no problem connecting.

Actually, with Linksys oem firmware, your boxes will keep whatever IP address they are initially assigned, but you can't specify the address. When you reboot they keep the same IP address they had before. When Windows requests an IP from the DHCP server, it tells the server what IP address it
