Agreed. I must admit with the SPE extension for ES, it's far more powerful than SM in the terms that there's a massive standard library and all functions that would need an extension in itself in SM can all be done in Python via SPE. Looks like valve will take a look at it. To be honest, it's not hard to fix since they can just make their own ent_fire command if they wanted too.
