This is more likely caused by servers not responding to A2S_SERVER_QUERY_GETCHALLENGE packets. So you need to change the code of the _getchallenge method. I'm not a python programmer, but you should change line 386 to: raw_challenge = self._any_response(PLAYERS) That should solve you're problem - but not the one discussed earlier on in this thread.
