Unfortunately, they are probably going to just let it stay hacked. Since
they have said they aren't going to chase the fake clients issue due to
more bugs being introduced by patching against it, why bother with the
forums? Fix one hole, someone finds another.
Oh well, it was a good community
I wonder why the Valve TF2 servers themselves have been offline since
yesterday.

One more thing, Lotus Clan does not masquerade bots as players, just fyi

Hey Fletcher, Thanks for your reply. I have much appreciation for Valve at
least saying this is wrong. When I've contacted admins for a few
communities, they said they would stop if Valve said to do so. This seems
to be a clear message to cease these activities.
So, this has been brought to light several times in the past and Valve
ignores anyone's request for even a stance on the matter.
You've got about five large communities built up on false stats, begging
for money and trying to deceive new players with server plugins.
When is Valve going to take a

Hi Saul,
I have logged in to report as many as I've had the energy to do since
the
reporting feature was implemented. They are still up and running
as one
thing (being full) when in fact it's something else (actually empty,
or redirecting to a different empty server) is leaps and bounds
difference than running gameplay changing plugins.

The reason some admins are worried is because they are treading into muddy
waters and now there's a way for people to report their activities. I have
a feeling Valve is only going to be dealing with player abuse, since it is
much easier to suspend accounts over porn sprays than to delist 50
plugins. Or maybe it's
because I can voice my opinion on server delisting and shitty server
admins just like you can.

Hey Fletch, any chance of this update addressing fake clients / misreported

Yes, but problems like When is Valve going to do something about fake
clients stealing gamer names/images in the name of padding server stats?
goes completely ignored in the forums. At least we know when it goes to the
list you guys have actually read it.
