If I had given this much thought to what note I was suppose to be playing or
what key the rest of the orchestra was playing compared to what my

You will find that all the horn parts in the Shostakovitch have what you will
need for the audition. Most of the time what they audition committees want to
hear is in the first movement. The low loud section for all four horns.
