Hugin is using the concept of lens and stacks. So it is not possible to
separately link the geometric parameters in a stack alone (this is allowed in
panotools, but not used in Hugin).
So for now Hugin prints a warning, if the stacks are incorrectly linked

getting the HFOV input dialog.
One untested issue could be the lens database. If no crop factor was found in
the image metadata, Hugin looks in the database. Maybe there is a wrong value

I finally found the bug you mentioned originally. It should be fixed

Calibrate_lens_gui should now also show incomplete values. And it stores
automatically the crop factor of the cam.

Hugin is using libpano13 for all the remapping. So the projection have
to be added to libpano13.
I see at least 2 issue with this projection:
* Blending about the 360 deg border in this projection is not not supported by
enblend/smartblend/multiblend. So this projection needs a special treatment

write tiff files always with an alpha channel.
So the shown image was not touched by Hugin at the end. Another software has
removed the alpha channel without correctly updating the header. This is

I committed in changeset 0b8eec60a38f a workaround. I explicitly hide the
overview window when the last usage was so. Normally this should be handled by
LoadPerspective.

Concerning the additional issue: Without specifying a prefix (with
--prefix=output) the default prefix as specified in the Hugin
preferences is used. By default this is "%projectname", this means that

The problem is probably the size of your input image: 14200x7100 with
bit depth 96. The 32 bit version of Hugin can only use 2 GB of RAM, even
if you have more RAM installed. And the input file seems to be too big
to be handled by nona 32-bit.

* Check that the packages matches (hugin and hugin-data package should both the
same version). Maybe there is something mixed.
* packages.ubuntu.com lists for Ubuntu 14.04 only the 2013.0 version. And this
version is compiled and linked with wxWidgets 2.8. Your assertion ment
