Hello,
Has anyone mentioned that you need to turn on the environment before you
address SDSF and turn it back off when you are done?
i.e.

Hi Everyone,
Currently we run with our Mainframes in a separate VLAN from other
environments, such as Intel and Unix. We have been asked to research
putting all of the environments on the same VLAN. My question is, What
are other shops doing? DO you run with your Mainframes in a separate
VLAN,

Does IBM even support a SYSRES being in a SMS POOL? I was under the impression
that it is not supported, but I could be wrong.

Hi,
Just a thought. I had a user with a similar problem as he wanted to set
his screen size to 35x155 and started to fail when I installed z/OS

small to support it and when we increased them he was able to use the

Does this Dataset have an Alias assigned to it? I used to work at a
shop that used a lot of Dataset Aliases and when we did a 3.4 List we
got two entries, One for the Alias and One for the Real Dataset. I don't
remember if there was an option to suppress listing two entries, but I
think there was.

Doesn't this indicate that my 73GB Drives are Faster and can deliver

Hello,
We had the same problem when we went to Z/OS 1.6. I found that the
Command Program was clearing MCSOPPRM which includes the MCS Authority.
I turned it back on with the intruction 'OIMCSOATH1,MCSOMSTR' in the
Assembler Program. Might be a place to look at.

Hello Rob,
The Prefix information for a User is stored in the ISPF Profile
Dataset in Member ISPPROF. If you have the RACF Authority, You can view
the users Profile Dataset (Usually something like &Userid.ISPF.PROFILE).
Or the user can display it by issuing the 'TSO PROFILE' Command on the
