Any LPARs that share that master catalog without the Alias?

Actually, the United States is effectively divided into 2 time zones,
because of the TV services for Eastern and Central Time zones starting
prime time at 8pm ET / 7pm CT and they repeat 2 hours later for 8pm MT
/ 7pm PT prime time. I would put the dividing line at 1 state west of
the Mississippi
Set all processors to GMT and use 5 hour offset for Eastern time and 8

The refresh is only to pick up the new number of volumes. Resizing
the VTOC is another set of options.

Not necessarily. A communication line between you site and the target
site could be down and IP has not figured out a re-route yet.

Personally, I put in a comment line near the top in jobs and procs
that had //**SOURCE DATA.SET.NAME(MEMBER) in it. Kind of hard to
enforce but maybe an JES exit could generate it?

SYS1.PARMLIB(DIAGxx) value VSM USEZOSV1R9RULES(NO) is old allocation

If the shared library cache is not big enough, then z/OS will revert
to normal storage use and the load module will be loaded into the
broker address space.
[That would mean multiple copies of the programs.]

I don't know if they work. Have you tried an IDCAMS PRINT (perhaps
with dump option). IEHLIST is more directory oriented, but comparing
before and after and looking at the start location.
Say you create a xyz.loadlib. Directory is 62 (or so) blocks (to take
up the entire first track).

You can create larger devices, then move smaller devices to it and run
ICKDSF to refresh the VTOC and pick up the new size then disable the
smaller volumes.

How about expiring the data from slot not used for 30 days? An IPL

joins the sysplex?
