We have been using SAS/ITRM for many years on the mainframe and other
platforms (porting the non-mainframe data to OMVS) with great success. A

what was setup. The sales people are here regularly, as we still have a z/OS
licence, and I am severely opposed to running this on a micky mouse system,
especially as all data we workk with are on the host.

Ever since January 2006, when they announced sub-capacity pricing.
And, you don't have to run any reports.
A $100K licence dropped to $36K in the first year and $20K every year after.
