I usually evaluate the holds. Then bypass them. Don’t bypass the errors though.
A friend did that once. Not good.

Look at the SMP/e CAUSER report and see what is/are the hold reasons. Then it
depends on what they are. Bypass or not. There's no need to exclude them. Just
expect an RC=8 on the apply.

running an apply check and getting the following on several sysmods:
GIM30206E ** APPLY PROCESSING FAILED FOR SYSMOD UI76575. HOLD REASON IDS WERE
NOT RESOLVED
What would the proper next steps be? Look into each sysmod for the hold reason
or exclude these sysmods?
