We had missing component or two in our z/OS 2.4 order from July, before 2.5 hit
the streets.
It is hard enough to get z/OS up and running without glitches and 'do it our
way, or else' directives.

a requirement. And for zIIP-less shops, on small machines

I manage have very small z13s systems, without zIIPs or even multiple CPUs, so
the overhead is beyond what they can live with.

It sounds like you might have a somewhat ongoing requirement to have z/OSMF
Lite to test your products with, until such time as you feel your customers
have moved up to a more full z/OSMF system. This could be a case where you'd
want to have another z/OSMF server configured separately

Good question. Since the file system that'll be used for this z/OSMF instance
isn't used for anything else, and we're not yet live with 2.4 on that system,
I'm might just empty that var file system and start over again.

You already have *more* than what they are asking. If they want Lite, I'd say
that it is there with more. If you don't like a specific plug-in and don't
want to use it anymore, by all means do not include its activation anymore.
But if they wanted Lite, and you have a decent selection

I'm guessing this is not a scenario the z/OSMF
We have configured full function z/OSMF environments on older releases of z/OS
for our developers to build/test interfaces to it from our own products. On our
z/OS 2.4 system the developers have asked for a z/OSMF Lite environment to be
made available there, once again to test our products so

The z/OSMF Workflow is a framework that supports z/OS System Programmers
(Workflow provider) to define a guided flow (workflow) through steps to
accomplish a system management or configuration task. System programmers can
organize the tasks they perform for day to day operation in a workflow
