Somewhere in the middle? Lizette's first attempt was CISIZER, the second
CFCISER, reality CFSIZER.
Don't worry, Lizette, I do the same thing all the time. :-) You got it right

While I would certainly like to see the reports posted here, the cbttape.org
home page has a lot more than just one link.

the yahoo group and now I need a yahoo group ID... so I just quit trying.

Hello All,
We are going to deploy a zOS product which writes LOGSTREAM on CF
structure. From the performance point of view what are all aspects i need
to be aware for example dasd space for LOGSTREAM logs, storage sizing , CF
memory sizing and we are expecting atleast 50 million transaction on
Very interesting!

PCs dont send DHCP to 0.0.0.0. They send DHCP to 255.255.255.255 ...
The address 0.0.0.0 is nothing in and of itself to worry about. What you
need to worry about are the port numbers to which it is trying to
communicate.

I don't know any of the mainframe conventions and others here will, but my
first question would be for clarification of what they mean by 'traffic'.
Is it protocol UDP or TCP or some other, if it's TCP is it simply SYN
packets (at the start of a TCP connection) without response, or is there a

If a listening server socket binds to 0.0.0.0 then it listens on any
interfaces present, which might be two adaptors with addresses
192.168.something and 10.something, for example.
0.0.0.0 is non-routable and a typical use
